Colors - Gorgeous burnt shades of orange and yellow along with jewel tones in ruby red, purple and sapphire blue that you can use for city daytime looks as well as in evening attire.

60's Fashion - With less of a "Mad Men" Americana-feel from last season and more of a British-invasion version with mod 60's revival dresses (seen at Burberry Prorsum) and mary jane heels at Prada as well as great capes in soft wools and seen in an array of great colors.

70's Fashion - 70's Bohemian & 70's sophisticated glamour were seen all over the runways and have easily been transformed on the streets. Think high-waist pants with silk blouses and long shimmering and flowing dresses.

Faux Fur - Although real fur was seen at many of the major designer houses, we're opting to ignore it and shine more attention to faux fur this year. The quality of fur faux has certainly improved this year and paying a bit extra for it, is well worth it.

Jewelry - Chunky standout fashion jewelry continues to be the trend this season. Choose gold over silver in sleek choker necklaces and cuff bangle bracelets. Rose gold jewelry has been the latest style seen on many celebs and on the runways. Choose lots of sparkle and shine for your new year eve party outfit.

Plunging Necklines - Seen at Gucci along with many other designer shows offers a sexy appeal to chunky sweaters and long sleeve tops and dresses. This trend gives us a great reason to add a fabulous silk scarf keeping us from freezing while we sport this ultra chic look.

Bell Bottoms and Wide-Legged Pants - Don't give up your skinny jeans just yet.. just be grateful that there are some more options emerging. So whether you hate the skinny jean or just want to be able to sport more looks, you'll certainly be able to accommodate both issues with bell bottoms and wide legged pants.

Pleats - Seen on long flowing skirts and dresses to short minis were seen all throughout the runways and it seems this trend is going to go straight through to spring 2011.

Sheer and Sparkle - Think sheer maxi dresses and long flowing skirts this season. Sheer blouses tucked into pencil skirts and high-waist pants look insanely great with this seasons updated mary janes. Looking for sparkle on sweaters, cardigans and accessories are sure to keep you in style this season and looking a bit bright through these upcoming winter months. Don't just sport the sparkle and shimmer trend for evening!

Hair - Sweet braids, half up do's (think 60's), afros, waved bobs for short hair, loose relaxed waves and bangs are the way to go.

Footwear - Chunky heels, platforms and mary janes embellished with studs, shimmering with rhinestones and rocked out with feathers. Riding boots and over the knee boots are easy to find in every price range, style and color this season.
